Avionics Manager, ACI Jet
Brian Ford was a general aviation maintenance technician and A&P instructor when his family moved to California. A local aviation connection suggested he consider ACI Jet. Despite having predominantly GA and airline experience, Ford was in the right place at the right time with the right attitude. He was able to apply his general knowledge of electronics as an avionics technician within ACI Jet’s Repair Station. Now Ford serves as avionics manager and is passionate about continuous improvement in the industry – constantly considering how to make aircraft safer and more capable.
“Business aviation is the segment of aviation that has the most opportunity for embracing new technology,” said Ford. “The ways that we can bring new life to older airframes through avionics and cabin systems upgrades is really exciting!”
